Partners In Education: Better Schools. Better Teachers. Better Haiti.

Ecclesiaste

Ecclesiaste is an orphan living and attending school at ANA with his brother Riky.  He was born 10/22/2005 in Hinche, in the central plateau of Haiti. His parents, who were poor farmers,  were forced to give up their two youngest children, due to the socioeconomic situation in Haiti. Both boys arrived at ANA with third degree malnutrition, displaying the symptoms of protruding bellies, thin arms/legs and thin hair.  Ecclesiaste’ teeth had been rotting away because his mother had only been feeding him sugar cane syrup for the past six months.  After being taken into Rock’s custody he promptly took them to a clinic in Petionville where the boys were nursed back to life.  He likes to play with cars.  He loves school and loves to write. He has lived at ANA for over two years and enjoys a childhood of play, education, health, support and love.
