Davinsly

Davinsly is an orphan living and attending school at ANA.  He had been given to a family as a restavek ( a child in Haiti sent by his parents to work for a host household as a domestic servant because his parents lack the resources required to support the child.)  Apparently his host household left him all alone for a period of time and he wandered away from the house.  When the police found him, he was able to tell his name but did not know his family.  He was taken to ….  and then brought to ANA.  His birthday is unknown.  The school at ANA is his first experience with education and he really likes to write.  He loves to be active and play all kinds of sports, often choosing football or basketball over watching TV.  He also likes to play with cars and dominoes.  His favorite food is fritay-a mixture of fried plantains, spicy cabbage and chicken.
